I believe childhood should be nothing short of magical. As a passionate educator, my mission is to create an environment where children don’t just learn through play—they thrive through it. I am dedicated to providing meaningful experiences that do more than just teach; I aim to shape their confidence, celebrate their individuality, and instill a foundation of respect and strong morals. My goal is to help every child make deep, lasting connections to the world around them while feeling safe, seen, and inspired.

We use Storypark; a private, secure app, to share 'Learning Stories' and photos that capture the magical moments of your child’s day
Educational Curriculum
Our curriculum is inspired by the Curiosity Approach, which replaces traditional plastic toys with natural 'loose parts' and authentic real-world items. Instead of following a rigid, top-down lesson plan, our pedagogy is child-led and inquiry-based, viewing the environment as the 'third teacher' that invites children to investigate, problem-solve, and innovate.
Flexible Hours
Accommodating various schedules. Whether you need a few hours or a full day of care, I am here to bridge the gap. My doors are open from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, allowing for up to 10 hours of daily attendance
Indoor Play Area
Dedicate indoor play space. The main level of the home is dedicated to the childcare. It’s a bright and spacious space at ground level, not in a basement.
Nap/Rest Time
Scheduled rest periods for children, older children engage in quiet activities if they have outgrown naps.
Outdoor Play
There is no such thing as bad weather, only the wrong clothing! By exploring the outdoors daily, we teach children to embrace the elements and find joy in every puddle, leaf, and snowflake.
Play-Based Learning
Developmentally appropriate learning, where play isn't just "free time"—it’s how children do their most serious work. We engage the whole child; building confidence & agency, social intelligence & morals, cognitive flexibility and motor skills mastery.

My daughter attended tender spirits childcare with Monica for two years. My only regret is not having her start a year earlier! She absolutely loved Monica and all her friends at daycare. I felt confident each day that she would be extremely well cared for, educated, and loved while I was at work.
Great experience overall choosing Tender Spirits Childcare for my son. Miss Monica made a big difference for my son Varun by encouraging self-expression, emotional understanding, and positive behavior. She puts in a lot of effort to engage the children and plans meaningful activities. She also keeps parents regularly updated about the child’s activities, interesting moments, and conversations, and how these positively impact the child’s development.
